Well, I missed our time together this morning. I was sitting in the usual spot, getting reading and getting ready to write a post, when the phone rang. The number was unfamiliar; so, I almost did not answer. On the other end was a friend whose close cousin had died unexpectedly this morning. She was beside herself and had called to ask a favor that, while I was happy to grant, turned my day upside down. Time dictated that posting be pushed aside.

Father, please comfort my dear friend tonight, as she mourns the loss of her loved one. In Jesus' name, amen.
